This ski is recommended for skiers from 175 to 195 lbs who ski in the 34 to 35 mph range. The binding is recommended to fit a shoe size men's 10 to 11. Other binding sizes are available if your feet are larger or smaller. These size recommendations are a general guide only. The new HO Monza is the world's hottest slalom ski. Its no compromise design and construction resulted from an exhaustive development process by the HO Syndicate Team. The choice of many of the world's best skiers, but, as HO skis have always been, the Monza is also very user friendly for aspiring slalom experts. One of the lightest skis money can buy, the Monza has 100% graphite layup around a CNC machined PVC (poly vinyl chloride) core. Combined with the market's most advanced 3 stage rocker, subtle design features like a 90 degree top edge, and a state of the art dual bevel edge, this is the ski that lights it up at high speeds like no other. Check out these features; Super light, CNC machined PVC core weighs almost nothing. Super light, 100% graphite layup also minimizes weight. 3 stage rocker with a large flat spot under the skier allows excellent recovery and performance with less than perfect body position. The HO legend of easy performance lives on in the Monza! Machine thread inserts in the ski make sheet metal screw on bindings obsolete. The insert threads are very fine, so the binding does not work its way loose as the ski flexes. And, the threads go deep into the core, so screw pullouts are a nightmare of the past. Syndicate adjustable fin can be moved up and down, and front to back. You can dial in the radius of turn, the acceleration, and horizontal attitude of the ski in the water that works best for you. Adjustable aluminum wing on the fin allows you to control how much drag is created at the tail. Less drag equals better acceleration to get you across the wake quicker. More drag equals better deceleration so you can turn sharper. The included Animal boots are simply the most comfortable high performance ski binding you can buy. With full EVA rubber heel and toe, it offers a high degree of stability and energy transmission, but is still very comfortable. With the integrated anatomical insole, the under foot support is outstanding. THIS BINDING SETUP IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE CURRENT MODEL ANIMAL BOOTS IN STORES TODAY. Check out these features: Soft, anatomical foot beds emphasize comfort and still offer ease of entry and exit. EVA material is stiffer for more side to side supportEVA molds to your foot as you use the bindings, so they get a bit looser, as well as more and more comfortable.Rear lace up design is easier to put on, and easy to un-lace when you are done. Non stretch laces allow you tighten the boot nicely around the ankle and shaft of the leg. Slide lace lock is easy to cinch down, and easy to loosen when your set is over. You will need to use lube to slide your foot in, and you CANNOT expect to put the Animal bindings on in the water. One fixed point on each side of the front binding with slotted mounting locations at front and back allow the binding to float as the ski flexes. The rear Pivot plate can be mounted with the foot centered on the ski, or with the heel pivoted to make the stance more comfortable and biometrically correct. Location of the binding can be changed on the ski, as well as the distance between feet. Bindings will be premounted on the ski. Be sure to specify which foot will be forward, so we can get the proper set of bindings on the ski. This ski shape is exactly the same as the current HO Monza.
