Description
Oh what a 45 On the Lemon Drop label ( I've heard this was the name of a club where the band played ) Private press. This is the super rare and excellent 45 "Lock - Jaw parts 1 and 2". The Labels are Beautiful M- , clean. Vinyl looks VG+ with sleeve lines, very good luster, and plays close to mint- . A rare chance to get this seriously great funk 45. This 45 is very rare, I think the last one for sale was about 2+ years ago, at least according to popsike and another website, and it was in lesser condition than this one and it sold for $451, so I thought I'd save eveyone some time and put this in with a buy it now. To give you a first hand report on how rare this 45 is: this record was recorded in Central Ohio, I've lived in Central Ohio for many years, and I've looked at over one million records (150,000 in just 3 days once, on the south side). This is the only copy of this I have ever seen, in any condition. It is hard to overstate just how rare this one is. This could be the last one you see in this good of conition , so please don't miss out. Oh, I'll be listing more great 45s and LP's this week, mostly Northern Soul, Funk, Disco, Soul, Popcorn, Dancers, etc., I invite you to check them out. ////////////RECORD GRADING ::: FS=Factory Sealed. /// New= New (or Mint) perfect in every way, record appears unplayed. /// New- = New minus (or Mint minus), record played maybe 1 to 9 times , perhaps a few spindle lines on label, and maybe a sleeve line or two. Covers close to M, has maybe a small corner bend, maybe the very slightest of ring line caused by the record./// VG+ = Very Good Plus, record played a little more than an m- but well cared for. Vinyl has the vast majority of its original luster, may have sleeve lines, maybe a few very lite scuffs; maybe one or two small, very light surface scratches. But not all at the same time. Cover MAY have very minor ringwear, maybe a few other flaws, a minor corner bend or two, maybe a small partial seam split; /// VG = record has the flaws of a VG+, only more of them; may also have some small scratches that are felt with a fingernail. Vinyl is very playable and will play through, good luster. Probably some noise between tracks, maybe in quiet passages. Still, a reasonably well cared for record. /// VG- = proportionally lower than a VG.//// G-It is rare that I will even list a record in this condition; but it will be proportionally lower than a VG-.
