Modified full concave with holding flats- SIXAM has a full continuous radius concave, but with a very small flat rail at each side measuring 3/16”, which enable the ski to roll onto an edge with less effort and produce advanced holding power out of the turn. Transitional bevel- Bevel on the SIXAM is transitional, being more defined in the fore body of the ski to a continuous round on the rear half of the ski.  This gives the ski tracking from the front of the ski allowing the tail to pivot around for a tight radius turn, and advanced holding through out the turn, even with speed.  Rocker Pattern- SIXAM rocker pattern is a very controlled part of the skis molding process.  Flat spot on the SIXAM is short and sweet!  This meaning that the flat is more under the skiers front foot allowing for maximum feedback as to where the ski is at all times.  The rocker pattern of a ski also allows for the ski to roll into the acceleration phase, so having the right smooth transition is of the utmost importance, as it will be with every SIXAM. Freedom Slot Tail- The Freedom slot tail is an exclusive to the SIXAM.  This is an extra tunnel that is carved out (in the mold) in the tail of the ski the length of the fin.  The Freedom slot with its straight lines allow the water to adhere to them instead of so much the fin, allowing a better release in the turn.  The Freedom slot allows the skier to carry more speed into the turn, but allows the tail to release even with the speed.  We find a ski blows the tail out of the water when we have speed because there is too much pressure against the fin all at once.  Freedom slot relieves this pressure. Torsion Designed Top Geometry- Top geometry on the SIXAM is not just for looks.  The top of the ski is designed to provide torsion to the ski in the places needed, rather than having to add materials at different angles which can lead to inconsistencies in the molding process and the finished product.  The geometry allows for the carbon graphite to run at slightly off angle directions in the fore body and tail which in turn allows torsion into the ski without adding more material and making the ski heavier than needed. Molded Inserts- Binding inserts have made mounting binders a doddle, but sometimes issues of them backing out has been known.  SIXAM will have a new molded in insert much like the same process as a wakeboard insert in a nylon disc.  These will be molded into the core of the ski, so no danger of them going anywhere. Core Technology- SIXAM will have a sanded/shaped lightweight core.  This will not only make this one of the lightest skis on the market, but adds to the responsiveness of the ski like no other.  The density of the core will allow a maximum rebound of the ski allowing the ski to quick off the mark (back of the turn) in whatever position.
