CONSUMER ALERT !!!) regarding inferior quality "knockoffs" of their generators being sold online. We've seen a few online retailers claiming that a 2800 Watt generator is actually a 3000 watt unit, even a 4000 watt unit in one case. What they're doing is stating the wattage the engine is capable of producing, not what the generator actually produces. Pretty slick, huh?If you're considering purchasing from these guys, ask to see the manufacturer's specs first. Don't accept their own specs, or be fooled by them if they say they ARE the manufacturer.
