ANTHOLOGY 1 – 3-LP with Gatefold Cover showing early pictures in Germany, drummer Pete Best – a great picture cover which is suitable for framing . The first in the series of Rare unreleased Beatles which is better as a study of Beatles history than an introduction to their music. This collection is really for die-hard Beatle fans, especially those with a historical bent that want to hear the evolution of the band and get a peek into the development process. We experience their growth from school kids in 1958, playing cheap instruments and recording in low budget studios, to the full Beatle-mania period up to 1964. Side One kicks off with "Free as a Bird," the John Lennon demo track that was turned into a finished song by Paul, George and Ringo. It's not the best song in their catalog, but a nice tribute to John, especially notable for George's slide guitar solo. "That'll be the Day" is scratchy and of low quality, but this is the germ of Beatles, and amazing that this track and "In Spite of all the Danger" survived. "You'll be Mine" has a hilarious spoken word part by John. "My Bonnie" captures some of that early Hamburg spirit, with the Beatles backing Tony Sheridan. You will smile at "Besame Mucho" and Paul's "cha-cha-boom." In addition to the early covers are outtakes that show works in progress, like "One After 909" that didn't make the cut until "Let It Be" and a very different sounding "Love Me Do." Live performances are featured, including some comedy bits. The sound is often obscured by screaming girls. Other tracks are alternate versions of well-known tunes, such as a much speedier "And I Love Her" and "Can't Buy Me Love" with Paul forgetting some lyrics. Another nugget is George singing the all-time fratboy classic "Shout" and you can just imagine the Cavern Club going wild. You will enjoy hearing the different versions of "I'll Be Back" with a slower version that falls apart, followed by a more up-tempo version like the final cut. That's the enjoyment of this set, hearing how the Beatles tinkered with the songs, despite all the slips, until finally producing the classics familiar to us all. If you're a fledgling fan, you might be disappointed, because this is recording with warts and all. But if you want to get a glimpse inside the process, there is much of interest here. ANTHOLOGY 2 – 3-LP 45-Tracks 128 Minutes in length. The second in the series of Rare unreleased Beatles recordings covers the group’s famed middle period featuring George Harrison’s classic track 11 out-take of TAX MAN. TAX MAN, the opening title on REVOLVER was Harrison’s acerbic and witty view of the inescapable realities of life. Track 12 was the Master Recording – this being a reduction or bounce of Track 11. (These are terms for a recording process taken up by The Beatles around this time, where, by merging two or more existing tracks of a tape while copying it across to a second tape, vacant tracks are created allowing for further overdubbing. Abbey Road was still using 4-Track Recording Machines in 1966 so this process was often necessary.)  Issued here for the first time on Vinyl is that Track 11 not dis-similar to the Master but with some notable differences, principally in the clean full ending (instead of the repeated guitar solo) and the “anybody got a bit of money?” backing vocals (instead of the Mr. Wilson Mr. Heath reference). George Harrison penned ONLY A NORTHERN SONG. Although not issued on disc until YELLOW SUBMARINE soundtrack Album in January of 1969, Harrison’s ONLY A NORTHERN SONG was written and first intended for SGT. PEPPER, its place in the recording chronology coming between other PEPPER tracks, FIXING A HOLE and BEING FOR THE BENEFIT OF MR. KITE. The Master of ONLY A NORTHERN SONG combined Track 3 (with overdubs) and a “reduction” of this Track 11 (with further overdub), simultaneously mixed into Mono. The mixes presented here in Stereo and slightly sped up, is Track 3 the basic track from February 13th, 1967 with bass and guitar added on April 20th with unissued vocal tracks (yielding a number of lyric vibrations from the Master) overdub onto a separate “reduction”, Track 12, flown in. The last Harrison penned track within ANTHOLOGY 2 is the Master of George Harrison’s composition that opened Side 2 of SGT. PEPPER’S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, presented here in a fashion not previously available on Vinyl remixed, without George’s vocal from the different original 4-track tapes that formed that Master. WITHIN YOU WITHOUT YOU (instrumental) what remains, audible to the fore is a combination of tamboura, tabla, dilruba and swaramandal tracks recorded in March with violins, cellos, and George’s sitar track overdubbed on April 3, 1967. ANTHOLOGY 2 features out-takes, demos and alternate versions of songs from the albums, HELP, RUBBER SOUL, REVOLVER, SGT. PEPPER’S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, and MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR. There are also three previously unreleased Beatles Songs from 1965, several live cuts and the second of The Beatles new recordings, “Real Love”, which began as a late seventies demo and completed in 1995 by George Harrison, Paul Mc Cartney and Ringo Starr. ANTHOLOGY 3 – This EMI 3-LP 52 Track Set has, as its real discoveries, George Harrison’s 8 solo demos including the electric-guitar and-vocal performances of SOMETHING and ALL THINGS MUST PASS plus PIGGIES, MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS, NOT GUILTY, FOR YOU BLUE, OLD BROWN SHOE, I ME MINE. They nearly ache with beauty, and Harrison sings them as if discovering his voice for the first time. The finished versions couldn’t possibly stand up to these demos which are among the highlights of the BEATLES ANTHOLOGY Series and the only time ever on Vinyl. If BEATLES ANTHOLOGY 2 was a study of how a Beatles song came together, ANTHOLOGY 3 is a study of how The Beatles themselves came apart. McCartney was now an unabashed Pop Balladeer, Lennon a sneering Pop Humorist and Experimenter, and Harrison a separate song-writing force aching to be unleashed. This is a stunning example of Harrison coming into his own and his eventual release of ALL THINGS MUST PASS. Enjoy being one of the last in the world to own this 3-LP Vinyl Masterpiece that simply blows away the CD Collection.  For other Beatles/George Harrison titles, or hundreds of additional Rare, Out of Print, Factory-Sealed Audiophile Recordings (MFSL, DCC, CBS, MCA, etc.) visit the mymusicfix E-Bay Store by hitting “STORES” tab on this title’s Home Page LIVE AT BBC - In their early days, the Beatles recorded many songs and interviews that were broadcast on British radio. For many years these songs were lost... ...Until now. Live At The BBC is excellent for Beatles fans. You'll find many tracks on here that are not available on any other Beatles release (most of which are covers. Artists covered include Chuck Berry, Arthur Alexander, Buddy Holly And The Crickets, The Shirelles, Carl Perkins, and many others.) These tracks are as follows: I Got a Woman Too Much Monkey Business Keep Your Hands off My Baby I'll Be on My Way Young Blood Shot of Rhythm and Blues Sure to Fall (In Love With You) Some Other Guy That's All Right (Mama) Carol Soldier of Love Clarabella I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Cry (Over You) Crying, Waiting, Hoping To Know Her Is to Love Her Honeymoon Song Johnny B. Goode Memphis Lucille Sweet Little Sixteen Lonesome Tears in My Eyes Nothin' Shakin' Hippy Hippy Shake Glad All Over I Just Don't Understand So How Come (No One Loves Me) I Forgot to Remember to Forget I Got to Find My Baby Ooh! My Soul Don't Ever Change Of course, the compilation offers more than just those unreleased cuts. You also get several brief interviews, and alternate versions of your early Beatles favorites (mostly songs up to 1964.) Sixty-Nine tracks total. It's more than worthy of a place in any Beatles collection. Overall, this is an excellent collection.  I recommend it to TRUE FANS It's an excellent compilation, and I recommend it to Beatles die-hards. NEW TO THE COLLECTION IS THE BEATLES "LOVE" 180 GRAM 2 LP SET Limited to just 5,000 U.S. copies!Upgraded packaging includes two 180-gram LPs, a 28-page 12" booklet.Love is an unprecedented approach to the Beatles' catalog, featuring wildly alternative mixes and "mash-ups," the combining of two or more Beatles tunes mixed together for a wholly unique song. The project came about when Paul and Ringo, along with Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison, approached legendary producer Sir George Martin about making experimental mixes from their master tapes. Actually, Martin says that the concept was born several years before when George Harrison and Guy Laliberte, the founder of Cirque du Soleil, began to explore the possibilities of a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and the Beatles. Out of that vision, Love was born. Martin and his son, Giles, have created a completely unique soundscape. Says Martin: "My brief was to create a soundscape of around one and a half hour's length using any sound I needed from the original Beatles multi-track recordings. It was an offer one could hardly refuse." Opinions will no doubt vary as to the validity of these new mixes. Purists may be offended. Those thirsting for new Beatles material may be thrilled. One thing's for certain: Love will be among the most talked about releases in many years. "This album puts the Beatles back together again, because suddenly there's John and George with me and Ringo," said Paul McCartney. "It's kind of magical." Lennon and McCartney begin to flex their writing muscles and had already scored two UK hits when this appeared, but they still relied heavily on the cover material to see them through. They were an unknown quantity, still to launch a million bands and take pop music to places it had never dreamed off. "All My Loving" and "I Wanna Be your Man" come from this record, issued hurriedly to capitalize on English Beatlemania. But even when they were laying into some classic Chuck Berry, by this time the Beatles had acquired a unique sound in the blend of John's and Paul's voices, while George was coming on by leaps and bounds as a guitar player. BEATLES FOR SALE - IN BOTH THE TOSHIBA BLACK VINYL AND THE RED MONO PRESSING BEATLES FOR SALE --     BEATLES FOR SALE came out for the 1964 Christmas market. The Beatles, whose instincts for what worked musically were so strong that they could basically do no wrong--any record that has "Baby's in Black," "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party" and the delectable "Eight Days a Week" on it is only "minor" in the most relative sense. And, though their voices had been frazzled a bit by constant touring, they revved them up for some joyous shouting, and indulged their fondness for American country in subtle, playful ways.   1. No Reply 2. I'm a Loser 3. Baby's in Black 4. Rock & Roll Music 5. I'll Follow the Sun 6. Mr. Moonlight 7. Kansas City/Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey! 8. Eight Days a Week 9. Words of Love 10. Every Little Thing 11. I Don't Want to Spoil the Party 12. What You're Doing HELP - IN BOTH THE TOSHIBA BLACK VINYL AND THE RED MONO PRESSING HELP --   How John Lennon's confessional song became the title for a silly James Bond spoof I really don't know. The funny thing is, it works both ways--as a young man's personal statement about learning to open up to others, and as the frantic theme for an exotic espionage chase comedy starring those lovable mop-tops (this time in color). Like A Hard Day's Night, only the first "side" of this album actually contains songs from the movie--the biggest hits being the eponymous cry for assistance and "Ticket to Ride." But part 2 has a few nice tunes as well, like "It's Only Love," "I've Just Seen a Face," and a little ditty called "Yesterday." And I always love it when they do an all-out screamer like "Dizzy Miss Lizzy," which sounds like John's raucous answer to Paul's "Kansas City/Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey" vocal on Beatles for Sale. Of course, it's essential--as are all the Beatles' soundtracks (all the Beatles' albums).    1. Help!     2. The Night Before     3. You've Got To Hide Your Love Away     4. I Need You     5. Another Girl     6. You're Going To Lose That Girl     7. Ticket To Ride     8. Act Naturally     9. It's Only Love     10. You Like Me Too Much     11. Tell Me What You See     12. I've Just Seen A Face     13. Yesterday     14. Dizzy Miss Lizzie       A HARD DAYS NIGHT - IN BOTH THE TOSHIBA BLACK VINYL AND THE RED MONO PRESSING HARD DAY’S NIGHT –     A Hard Day's Night     2. I Should Have Known Better     3. If I Fell     4. I'm Happy Just To Dance With You     5. And I Love Her     6. Tell Me Why     7. Can't Buy Me Love     8. Any Time At All     9. I'll Cry Instead     10. Things We Said Today     11. When I Get Home     12. You Can't Do That     13. I'll Be Back       That dramatic guitar chord that kicks of A Hard Day's Night (album, song, movie) still jumps right out at you, slaps you in the face, and jump-starts your heart. And you know what? Both the music and the film are still as crisp and lively as they were in 1964. Of course, only the first seven songs are actually in the movie (and they are the strongest of the bunch, from the rousing rock & roll of the title track and the hit single "Can't Buy Me Love," to the beautiful ballads "If I Fell" and "And I Love Her"). But nobody's going to complain about having songs like "I'll Cry Instead" and "Things We Said Today" in the second half of the record; they sure don't feel like leftovers. Yet another high-point for John, Paul, George, and Ringo who hit the highest heights imaginable RUBBER SOUL  - IN BOTH THE TOSHIBA BLACK STEREO VINYL AND THE RED MONO PRESSING RUBBER SOUL – .  Rank them how you like, RUBBER SOUL is an undeniable pivotal point in the Fab Four’s varied discography no matter where, or how, you first heard it.  The 14-song U.K. Edition - the version now available in this Limited Edition has so many classics:  “Drive My Car” and “Nowhere Man” (both omitted from the U.S. edition).  The transition from mop-tops to experimenting musicians began with RUBBER SOUL!  John wrote one of his most sensible love songs with “In My Life”.  “The Word” can be read as a pre-psych warning shot; the sitar-laden “Norwegian Wood” and the evocative “Girl” (written the last night of the sessions) stand as turning points in John Lennon’s work.  George also emerges with the McGinnis “If I Needed Someone.”  One of the greatest Albums of all time. Other tracks include:  Drive My Car – You Won’t See Me - Nowhere Man - Think For Yourself - Michelle - What Goes On - Girl - I’m Looking Through You - In My Life - Wait - If I Needed Someone - Run For  Your Life.   Track Listings 1. Drive My Car 2. Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) 3. You Won't See Me 4. Nowhere Man 5. Think for Yourself 6. Word 7. Michelle 8. What Goes On 9. Girl 10. I'm Looking Through You 11. In My Life 12. Wait 13. If I Needed Someone 14. Run for Your Life REVOLVER - IN BOTH THE TOSHIBA BLACK STEREO VINYL AND THE RED MONO PRESSING REVOLVER wouldn't remain the Beatles' most ambitious LP for long, but many fans remember it as their best. An object lesson in fitting great songwriting into experimental production and genre play, this is also a record whose influence extends far beyond mere they-was-the-greatest cheerleading. Putting McCartney's more traditionally melodic "Here, There and Everywhere" and "For No One" alongside Lennon's direct-hit sneering ("Dr. Robert") and dreamscapes ("I'm Only Sleeping," "Tomorrow Never Knows") and Harrison's peaking wit ("Taxman") was as conceptually brilliant as anything Sgt. Pepper attempted, and more subtly fulfilling. A must. Track Listings 1. Taxman 2. Eleanor Rigby 3. I'm Only Sleeping 4. Love You To 5. Here, There and Everywhere 6. Yellow Submarine 7. PEPPERS - IN BOTH THE TOSHIBA BLACK STEREO VINYL AND THE RED MONO PRESSING SGT. PEPPER’S - THE BEATLES – SGT. PEPPER’S LONELY HEART’S CLUB BAND – U.K. PRESSING – SEALED . This album has been direct-metal-mastered from a digitally re-mastered original tape to give the best possible sound quality. Mymusicfix has listened to it – AND IT SOUNDS GREAT!! Before The Beatles released SGT. PEPPER’S, both John Lennon and Paul McCartney were blown away by the Beach Boys recent release of PET SOUNDS and were inspired to transform rock music into an actual art. In 1967 spanning 129 days (perhaps the most creative 129 days in the history of rock music), this crowning achievement of The Beatles and George Martin --especially considering they were working only with 4-track tape machines-- created an undeniable work of art which remains after 30+ years one of the most influential albums of all-time. From John Lennon’s evocative word/sound pictures (the trippy LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS, the carnival-like BEING FOR THE BENEFIT OF MR. KITE) and Paul McCartney’s musical hall style WHEN I’M 64 to George Harrison’s Eastern leanings WITHIN WITHOUT YOU to Ringo’s A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS and the avante-garde mini-suite A DAY IN THE LIFE, SGT PEPPER’S was a milestone for both the sixties and pop culture Track Listings 1. Day in the Life THE WHITE LP (2LP SET) - IN BOTH THE TOSHIBA BLACK STEREO VINYL AND THE RED MONO PRESSING The WHITE ALBUM was meant to be the record that brought them back to earth after three years of studio experimentation. Instead, it took them all over the place, continuing to burst the envelope of pop music. Lennon and McCartney were still at the height of their powers, with Lennon and McCartney growing into rock's towering figures. From Beach Boys knock-offs to reggae and to the unknown ("Revolution #9"), this has it all. Some records have legend written all over them; this is one. 1. Back in the U.S.S.R. 2. Dear Prudence 3. Your Mother Should Know 6. I Am The Walrus 7. Hello Goodbye 8. Strawberry Fields Forever 9. Penny Lane 10. Baby You're A Rich Man 11. All You Need Is Love The album feels even more like a collection of singles (instead of an actual movie soundtrack) than Help! or A Hard Day's Night, but maybe that's because every song sounds like it could have been a hit single. " Even George's "Blue Jay Way" paints a vivid sound-portrait in fascinating detail. Consider Joni Mitchell's "Car on the Hill" from Court and Spark to be a companion piece about sitting in the Hollywood Hills, waiting for somebody to show up. This album features the two 45 rpm masterpieces that sum up the quintessential best of Lennon and McCartney at this stage of their development: Paul's "Penny Lane" and John's "I Am the Walrus." LET IT BE - OBI JAPAN TOSHIBA STEREO BLACK VINYL LET IT BE  often gets a bad rap. Unfairly, as it's often as charming, well written, and  rocking as the Beatles' "better" albums; it's also more outright fun than Abbey Road, the masterpiece it followed into the stores. With Lennon and McCartney working together on the perfect "I've Got a Feeling," "Two of Us," and "Dig a Pony," it's hard to believe these guys were about to go their separate ways. Tracks include:    1. Two Of Us     2. Dig A Pony     3. Across The Universe     4. I Me Mine     5. Dig It     6. Let It Be     7. Maggie Mae     8. I've Got A Feeling     9. One After 909     10. The Long And Winding Road     11. For You Blue     12. Get Back     ABBEY ROAD - U.S. CAPITOL/APPLE STEREO BLACK VINYL - SEALED The Beatles last days as a band were as productive as any major phenomenon that was about to split up. After recording LET IT BE LP, the group held on for this ambitious effort - an album that was to become their best seller. On Side One, all four Beatles contribute with John Lennon’s hard rocking COME TOGETHER and I WANT YOU SO; George Harrison’s SOMETHING; Ringo’s OCTOPUS’S GARDEN and Paul McCartney’s MAXWELL SILVER HAMMER and OH DARLING complete this first side. A series of long fragments edited together in a sweet form dominates Side Two. Songs like George Harrison’s HERE COMES THE SUN, BECAUSE, SUN KING, MEAN MR. MUSTARD, POLYTHENE PAM, CAME THROUGH THE BATHROOM WINDOW, NEVER GIVE ME YOUR MONEY, GOLDEN SLUMBERS, and the fitting end to The Beatles last cut forever - THE END have a way of taking you in, up and out. You can feel your energy level rise as you listen to these songs and when you hit the crescendo, they take you down gently. ABBEY ROAD has to be one of the great classic rock albums of all-times. This is one album that Beatles fans will want to add to their album collection as it shows what a force The Beatles were in rock and roll. LET IT BE NAKED - with all inclusive contents - 20 page booklet and picture sleeve 45 RPM 7” disc. - OBI JAPAN TOSHIBA STEREO BLACK VINYL The Beatles have often spoken about how Phil Spector drowned their sound in orchestration on the original Let It Be, released in 1970, and Paul McCartney has vowed to rewrite history by having the version originally intended finally released and that's what we have here. Here it is with an additional 7” Disc of Fly On The Wall, a unique insight into the Beatles at work in rehearsal and in the studio during January, 1969. Track Listings 1. Get Back 2. Dig A Pony 3. THE BEATLES PAST MASTERS VOLUME 1 & 2 (2LP SET)  PAST MASTERS/Volumes One & Two -- from EMI/Apple - Pressed in England. What can you say, really? When you get right down to it, it's the greatest band in the history of pop music, the most influential, the best writers, and whatever other superlatives you can think of. Given their phenomenal output, and their huge chart success, it's no surprise that this second volume proves every bit as rich as the first. John, Paul, George, and Ringo had that rare chemistry that moved musical mountains, with more great songs than many people have had hot dinners, and they're still affecting the course of popular music. Thirty years later, all the paths they hinted at have yet to be explored, which is about as high a testament as can be given. - This second volume of Past Masters picks up where volume one left off!! A great collection of non LP singles (Hey Jude, Revolution, Get Back, Don’t Let Me Down, Ballad Of John And Yoko, Day Tripper, We Can Work It Out, Paperback Writer ,Rain, Let It Be, You know My Name (look up the number) and more!!! Also includes a rare version of Across The Universe. Since the songs are ordered chronologically, you can hear how the Beatles honed their technique over the years. It is a good place to begin for people who (gasp) might not own Beatles albums--But it's also essential for those who own all the albums, because many of these songs weren't included on the other releases. JOHN LENNON - ROCK N ROLL - 180 GRAM PRESSING - Released in an age when both David Bowie and Bryan Ferry had already tracked back to musical times-gone-by (Pin Ups and These Foolish Things, respectively), Rock 'n' Roll received short shrift from contemporary critics. As time passed, however, it has grown in stature, whereas those other albums have merely held their own. Today, Rock 'n' Roll sounds fresher than the rock 'n' roll that inspired it in the first place. Imagine that. - 180-gram audiophile pressing Track Listings 1.   Be Bop a Lula 2.   Stand By Me 3.   Medley: Rip It Up / Ready Teddy 4.   You Can't Catch Me 5.   Aint' That a Shame 6.   Do You Wanna Dance? 7.   Sweet Little Sixteen 8.   Slippin' And Slidin' 9.   Peggy Sue 10.   Meldey: Bring It On Home To Me / Send Me Some Lovin' 11.   Bony Moronie 12.   Ya Ya 13.   Just Because 14.   Angel Baby 15.   To Know Her Is to Love Her 16.   Since My Baby Left Me 17.   Just Because (Reprise) JOHN LENNON - UNFINISHED MUSIC NO. 2 - LIFE WITH THE LIONS - THIS IS THE ORIGINAL ZAPPLE RECORDS RELEASE - ALMOST 40 YEARS OUT OF PRINT - Probably the most avant garde, adventurous work ever released by a major label, this is a mind expanding, terrifying album. From the epic Cambridge 1969 (running a wonderfully epic 26 1/2 minutes), the creepy No Bed for Beatle John, and the John Cage tribute Two Minutes Silence (it is NOT the best song on the album because Yoko shuts up, as some reviewers have said), it's an album you are not likely to forget. Reportedly, it was made after Yoko's miscarriage, accounting for the agony. The stuff that nightmares and pain are made of. Yoko's vocals on this album are some of her best work. John's distorted guitar compliments them superbly (especially on Cambridge 1969). This is the best of the "Unfinished Music" albums (Two Virgins and Wedding Album being the other two). Track Listings 1. Cambridge 1969 2. No Bed for Beatle John 3. Baby's Heartbeat 4. Two Minutes Silence 5. Radio Play MFSL' JOHN LENNON - LIVE IN TORONTO Performing at Toronto's Rock and Roll Revival Festival a month or so after completing Abbey Road, John Lennon and a hastily assembled lineup consisting of Yoko Ono, Eric Clapton, Klaus Voorman and Alan White shocked and delighted a huge audience at Varsity Stadium. The band rollicks through a raw, but authentic set with great vocals by Lennon and awesome guitar from Clapton. Track Listings 1.   Blue Suede Shoes 2.   Money 3.   Dizzy Miss Lizzie 4.   Yer Blues 5.   Cold Turkey 6.   Give Peace A Chance 7.   Don't Worry Kyoko (Mummy's Only Looking for Her Hand in the Snow) MFSL'S JOHN LENNON'S IMAGINE - IMAGINE Half-speed Production and Mastering by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab specially plated and pressed on 180 grams of High Definition Vinyl. Mastered from the Original Master Tape and Manufactured by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab on the GAIN 2 ULTRA ANALOG SYSTEM by Krieg Wunderlilch - Special static free/dust free Inner Sleeve - Heavy Duty Protective Packaging with Liner Notes by Dill Dahl. This LP captures the incredible realism and presence in the listening experience without the annoyance of surface noise, distortion, hiss and disc warpage. The depth and dimension of the music is delivered back to you with all the dynamics and richness of the live recording session. With Mobile Fidelity, you will come as close as possible to hearing the three-dimension quality of the music just as the artist intended it to be. MFSL returns with one of rock and roll’s most important visionaries and a rock classic no collection should be without: John Lennon - Imagine. No one needs to be reminded of the historical significance of this masterpiece from one of music's most influential artists. For the very first time, Imagine is reproduced with clarity never before heard. Mastered from the original master tape from Yoko Ono's recent remix, this MFSL UltraAnalog GAIN 2™ LP version fleshes out deep, tuneful bass, unprecedented instrument spatiality and a vocal clarity that finally does justice to John's brilliant vocals. From ferocity to fragility, MFSL’s mastering refines the wide emotional range and sheer beauty that is John Lennon’s Imagine. The title cut alone may be the most important single from any of the individual members of the Beatles! We highly recommend keeping an extra sealed copy around! Tracks include: Imagine Crippled Inside Jealous Guy It's So Hard I Don't Wanna Be A Solider Mama GImme Some Truth Oh My Love How Do You Sleep? How? Oh Yoko! MFSL'S JOHN LENNON - PLASTIC ONO BAND - MFSL 180 Gram Heavy Vinyl Sealed LP  Half-speed Production and Mastering by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab specially plated and pressed on 180 grams of High Definition Vinyl. Introspective and painfully personal, PLASTIC ONO BAND is an extremely courageous solo debut for a man who was already subjected to an unprecedented level of public scrutiny. Yet there is no conflict or compromise here between art and commerce here - Lennon clearly serves his muse. Where as the Beatles sang of a pending social revolution, on PLASTIC ONO BAND, Lennon unleashes one. Musically, diverse elements of rock & roll, folk, and heartfelt ballads are melded together and anchored by John’s haunting voice and melodic brilliance. Thankfully, the timeless intimacy and thoughtful meaning behind these songs are finally unveiled via Mobile Fidelity’s GAIN 2 mastering process. Tracks include: Mother – Hold On – I Found Out – Working Class Hero – Isolation – Remember – Love – Well Well Well – Look At Me – God – My Mummy’s Dead – Power to the People and Do the Oz. MFSL'S JOHN LENNON'S - MIND GAMES - MIND GAMES The title cut was one of John Lennon’s most Spector-esque singles with its voluminous sound and gorgeous melody delivering his "nutopian" message. The album is one of his most stylistically diverse, ranging from the aforementioned ballad to the upbeat jaunt of "Tight As" to the sonic funkiness of "Meat City" and all points in between. This 1973 album was recorded at New York City’s Record Plant with the finest studio cats of the day: Michael Brecker, David Spinozza, Sneaky Pete Kleinow, Jim Keltner and many others. Lennon credits his guitar, clavinet and percussion playing to his Dr. Winston O’Boogie persona. Without a doubt, Harrison's first solo recording, originally issued as a triple album, is his best. Drawing on his backlog of unused compositions from the late Beatle era, George crafted material that managed the rare feat of conveying spiritual mysticism without sacrificing his gifts for melody and grand, sweeping arrangements. Enhanced by Phil Spector's lush orchestral production and Harrison's own superb slide guitar, nearly every song is excellent: Awaiting on You All, Beware of Darkness, the Dylan collaboration I'd Have You Anytime, Isn't It a Pity, and the hit singles My Sweet Lord and What Is Life are just a few of the highlights. A very moving work. The album is evocative, emotional, rocking, but I can't really sum it up in one sentence. There is a medley of five songs towards the end and that was purposefully retrospective. I thought this might be because I'm at this point in my life, but then I think about the times I was writing with John and a lot of that was also looking back. It's like me with 'Penny Lane' and 'Eleanor Rigby' – I'm still up to the same tricks!" – Paul McCartney PLUS THE DOUBLE LP - GLASS ONION - SONGS OF THE BEATLES - VARIOUS ARTISTS COVERING SONGS OF THE BEATLES SIDE ONE - GLASS ONION - ARIF MARDIN * SAVOY TRUFFLE - ELLA FITZGERALD * DAY TRIPPER - HERBIE MANN & TAMIKO JONES * THE WORD - HARVEY AVERNE DOZEN * HEY JUDE - CLARENCE WHEELER & THE ENFORCERS * SOMETHING - WADE MARCUS SIDE TWO - COME TOGETHER - THE METERS * DRIVE MY CAR - BLACK HEAT * ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE - THE FREEDOM SOUNDS FEATURING WAYNE HENDERSON * THE LONG & WINDING ROAD - ARETHA FRANKLIN * AND I LOVE HER - KING CURTIS * CARRY THE WEIGHT - CARMEN MCRAE SIDE THREE - A HARD DAYS NIGHT - EDDIE CANO & NINO TEMPO * GET BACK - SHILEY SCOTT & THE SOUL SAXES * I SAW HER STANDING THERE - LITTLE RICHARD * GOOD DAY SUNSHINE - ROY REDMOND * GOT TO GET YOU INTO MY LIFE - ELLA FITZGERALD SIDE FOUR - SGT.
