It is a Open Class Racing Ski and is 19 feet 6 inches long and 18 inches wide just behind the seat. This boat is a lot faster than the lifeguard skis and requires a higher skill to stay upright. It weighs about 33 pounds and has a carbon fiber kick up rudder and a venturi drain. The kick up rudder is great for river races in shallow water if you do adventure races or paddle in areas where there is kelp. The venturi drain doubles as a speedometer - when the water level is even with the footwell you are at 6mph & when you hear a slurping sound your are hitting 7.5 mph.
