Description
This is a 4 by 8 foot Vintage Brunswick pool table from about 1945 and it is called "The Anniversary". It is a very popular table and was produced in several different versions by Brunswick up until the late 50"s. The most desirable versions have the walnut rails like this one. Completely refinshed to appear exactly like it did when new. Even the pockets are new but original red rubber by Brunswick. The ivory lines that streamline the aprons really set this out in the classic Art Deco style that is still very popular. I am including pictures of a few of the other Anniversary tables I have sold over the years and they were all beautiful and slightly different from one another. The cast aluminum pocket housing has been buffed out to appear like stainless steel and it really enhances the beauty of the table, don't you think? 3 piece 1 inch slate with some minor repairs and this table can be delivered anywhere in the U.S. for a modest fee. I also have a nine foot Anniversary in the shop as well as a nine foot Centennial table that is the "sister" table to the Anniversary. Both of these models were made at the 100 year mark of the Brunswick Corp in 1945 and they continued to make these extremely popular models for many years. The Centennial model is considered more desirable than the Anniversary and both are getting quite hard to find.Check the Brunswick web site for more information on antique tables.
